Sonja Kristina - Curved Air/Acid Folk8/12/2022 It was a pleasure to interview Sonja Kristina for the Jane Nicola Soundvibe show. She spoke abut how she met Graeme, she was living in the countryside with her husband Steward Copeland (Drummer of the Police). Sonja shares how Graeme came to visit them and he soon became a friend, the producer, as well as the bass player of her touring band. They played at folk clubs and psychedelic clubs all over the UK. Graeme also recorded "Songs from the Acid Folk" at his Beat Factory Studio in London which was co-run with Marijke Bergkamp. Marijke and Alex Holdaway (Wife and mother of Finlay Holdaway) also feature in my podcasts which are due to be released in the next month in celebration of Graeme Holdaway's life and work.
