Black History month is here! As I'm a black British musician living in Asia for fourteen years which has included the countries of Singapore, China and Hong Kong, here is a little about my own story. I initially trained as a Music therapist, educator and performer in the UK and all of these three aspects have contributed to my work in a unique way over the past few years and I share some of this in my podcasts. The influence of lockdown in China, inspired me to develop podcasts where a deeper conversation can be held and the life of an artist, creative initiator shared. Thus I then created the Soundvibe show last June and am happy to released 11 episodes with more in the pipeline every month. Creating a podcast platform has been very exciting and I have welcomed your feedback about the pods and the artists, speakers that have featured in the podcasts. This year, I look forward to sharing more with you and featuring some artists from China and Asia that you might not have heard of, as well as other artists and creatives from around the globe. Till then!
